On January 15th, 2020, in a r/MountainDew Reddit post, Frost Bite was leaked by a PepsiCo employee named 'mtndewinsider,' showing an advertisement of a 16.9-ounce bottle of Frost Bite to which he later received as a 20-ounce test sample bottle.
However, the community and moderation team prevented the leak's spread, both to prevent the drink's launch from potentially getting canceled (based on what happened to Happy Dew Year), as well as for the safety of the leaker. Its tagline is ' Naturally & Artificially Flavored DEW.'įrost Bite was first leaked on the Dew Drinker Discord in late 2019.
Frost Bite, described as 'a burst of icy refreshment and cool melon' flavor of Mountain Dew and has a cobalt blue look, having an identical tasting flavor and color to that of 2017's Game Fuel (Arctic Burst).
